Shipping & Returns
We have a number of shipping options available for your convenience. These include:
Pickup at our Retail Outlet
Picking up an order at our retail outlet is easy. Simply place an order by Tuesday 3:00pm EST, and we will have your order here and ready to pick up by the following Monday afternoon. Orders picked up at our retail outlet are assessed a 5% handling fee.

Our delivery truck is the most cost effective way to get a delivery (if you are not picking up at our retail outlet). The following information applies to our delivery trucks and commercial carriers only:
Order Minimums & Fees:
$450.00 (before tax & freight)
$350.00-$449.99 with an additional $30.00 handling charge (before tax & freight)
$250.00-$349.99 with an additional $60.00 handling charge (before tax & freight)
$150.00-$249.99 with an additional $90.00 handling charge (before tax & freight)
Orders below $150.00 will not be delivered on our truck. Please see UPS orders.
A freight charge is added to every order delivered by our truck. Our current freight rate is 10%.
All orders shipped by Commerical Carrier, UPS or picked up at our location have a 5% handling charge assessed.
We are currently required to collect sales tax in the following states: GA (3%), NC (2%), & TN (8%). If you are tax exempt there are specific forms that we need. Please contact us for more details.

You can fax or scan and email the application to us. You can still place your order on our website, but you will need to get this application to us before we can process your order.
Commercial Trucking Companies
Orders that are outside of our delivery area that are not shipped by UPS are shipped by 3rd party trucking companies. Orders over 400lbs usually get a better shipping rate than UPS. We have worked out discount arrangements with several companies and can save you more than 60% over the cost of arranging your own shipping. Order minimums for this shipping method are the same as listed above for our truck.
Orders shipping by 3rd party carriers are shipped on two different schedules. If you'd like to order at any time we can ship within 14 days. If you'd like to save even more money, you would need to place your order on Delivery Route 6.
On Delivery Route 6, we take your order on our truck to Nashville, TN, where we drop it off at a carrier terminal. This usually makes your shipping cheaper than having us ship it directly from MI.
As with all our other delivery methods, there is a freight charge for orders shipping on commercial carriers; however, we reduce it to 5% to help offset the cost of the commerical carrier.

UPS (United Parcel Service)
UPS orders are shipped every Monday. To have an order shipped on Monday, you need to place your order by Wednesday 3:00pm. Orders placed after that will be delayed an extra week. UPS orders must be at least $50.00 or a $5.00 handling charge will be added. All UPS orders have a 5% handling fee added to the cost of the order.
Freight charges are assessed using the current UPS rate chart for ground service. In addition to their ground rates, UPS adds a varying fuel surcharge, which will also be added to the cost of shipping. Since most of our products are packaged in bulk, full UPS charges may not be available until after your order is packaged and ready to ship. Our shopping cart provides an estimate of these charges, which is usually close; however, the actual total may be more or less.
Orders that are greater than 200lbs qualify for a shipping discount; however our shopping cart will not figure in that discount. For an estimate over 200lbs, please contact us with your address and the approximate weight of your shipment.
Some items, such as those packed in glass or items that are very bulky (ex. 50lb oats) cannot be shipped by UPS. Please check the item details to see if a product can or cannot be shipped by UPS or other direct shipping methods. If your order contains these items, we will out-of-stock them and ship the rest of your order as is.
Natural and organic foods are a commodity; therefore our supply will fluctuate from time to time. We do not have a backordering system so items that are not available at the time we process your order will be out-of-stocked. If you would like your order held until all items are available for shipping (which could cause considerable delay in order processing), please mention that when placing your order.
Fees assessed by UPS, or any other shipper, for incorrect address and shipping information will be applied with an adjustment handling fee of $2.50 if the errors are not our fault, so please make sure you enter your information carefully. UPS cannot be shipped to PO Boxes, but may be able to ship by a method that does.
Returns & Credits
Since natural foods with no preservatives store best in cool, dry conditions, our warehouses are refrigerated and we guarantee quality at the time of delivery; however we cannot guarantee the quality beyond 14 days after purchase.
Intention to return an item must be made within two weeks after delivery. A 25% restocking fee may apply. Items must be returned in their original packaging. Do not return an item without prior authorization. Items returned without proper authorization will not receive credit.
Credits will be given consideration if the return policy is followed. No credit is given on freight or handling fees. Credit, when given, will be in the form of a credit toward a future purchase.
We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard & Visa. All UPS orders and Commercial Truck Delivery Orders must be pre-paid using a credit card.

After an account history has been established for deliveries on our truck, you may request a change in your payment terms to COD. This does not apply to UPS or Commercial Truck Orders.
